"The single most important journey you will ever make in your lifetime, is
The Quest to Recognize Yourself."

- Seijaku Roshi

What is Authentic Spirituality?

We are all born with the inherent knowledge of who we truly are, and of the world around us - the mind of clarity, wisdom, and infinite potential.  This Mind is perfect and complete, lacking nothing, possessing all the knowledge and wisdom we need to live our lives at the level of excellence and full self-expression.

Sooner or later we lose touch with our original-wisdom and in time we come to develop and identify with a much smaller separate self - a kind of optical delusion creating stress and confusion in our lives.

This disconnect with our original nature, Who We Truly Are, creates the unrest and dissatisfaction we carry through life, a kind of ignorance (We ignore our intrinsic wholeness and begin to look for answers and meaning outside ourselves.)

As long as we believe that something or someone outside ourselves will make us feel whole, make us happier, while always grasping for more, better, or different, dissatisfaction and anxiety will haunt us no matter how much we try, and suffering will compound.

Authentic Spirituality is the name given by American Zen Master Seijaku Roshi, a unique way to discover and explore living your life authentically, passionately; and on purpose, with compassion and joy.

It is Zen in the Home; Zen in the Workplace; Zen at the Parent-Teachers Conference; Zen Between Jobs; Zen in Crises; Zen in Recovery; Zen on the Expressway; Zen and Parenting, and Zen in Love.

It is the spirituality of - "freshly mopped floors, stacked dishes, and clothing blowing on the line. It is also the spirituality of love and compassion when things fall apart."

Zen Beyond Buddhism The essence of Zen flows through all of life; it is the very heart of being human, and is not limited to any particular tradition no matter how ancient or impressive.

Zen is the path of a fully realized human being, a kind of journey toward what really matters in life including its impermanency and vulnerability and its wonder and joy.

Seijaku Roshi speaks to us about living authentically and at the level of full self-expression, on purpose, fearlessly, fulfilled, and content.

"The Way of Zen helps us discover how to recognize and settle into our place in the world, and to encounter it through the quality of all victorious mastery."

Depending upon the needs of the organization, this program can be delivered in 2 hours, half day or full day sessions.

Pathway to Freedom -

“Authentic Spirituality is always about one thing—Freedom.

The basic instinct for freedom has nothing to do with any religious or spiritual tradition, no matter how ancient or impressive...It has to do with a primordial impulse to live ones life authentically and at the level of
full self-expression.
Ego or this "conditioned self-image" we adopt at an early age is always recreating and translating the present experience according to someone else's idea for us or some other agenda but freedom. Awakening or liberation from a lifetime of conditioned experiences happens when one decides to respond to this impulse and recognize the hidden and infinite potential within themselves, to question, to wonder, and to look deeply without getting stuck in sentimentality or fear.

For most of us the greatest mystery of all,
is Who We Truly Are. The single most important journey you will ever take is
The Quest to Recognize Yourself.
The single most important contribution you
will ever have to make is You.

If we never take this journey, we may never know
the fullness of life.
"
